Kris Cheng is a photographer and director based in Denver, NYC and SF.

A product of the Stanford d.school, his work is tied together by the common thread of empathy and spans visual media & storytelling, consumer products, and international development over the past 10 years. He has worked for brands like Nike, Apple, and Google, as well as a number of foundations and nonprofits, in over a dozen countries across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. From celebrities to CEOs to subsistence hunters, he draws frequently from his interdisciplinary background in his commercial and documentary work to create the most striking and meaningful imagery possible with those around him.

He is also previously the co-founder of the camera hardware company Alpine Labs and co-founder/creative director over at Maku.
